This World AIDS Day is more than a celebration of the achievements of communities; it is a call to action to enable and support communities in their leadership roles. World AIDS Day is an opportunity to reflect on the progress made to date, raise awareness about the challenges that remain to achieve the goals of ending AIDS by 2030 and mobilize all stakeholders to jointly redouble efforts to ensure the success of the HIV response.
Today we stand together to fight against AIDs and promote a unified and safe world for all
The 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence is an annual international campaign that kicks off on 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day.
As we stand united for the #16DaysOfActivism, this year’s crucial theme, ‘Invest to Prevent Violence Against Women and Girls,’ resonates deeply. It’s about more than just financial contributions; it’s about investing in education, healthcare, empowerment, and advocacy, fortifying a world where they can thrive unencumbered by fear or violence. Investing in women and girls today is our commitment to forging a safer, more equitable tomorrow.
We were honoured to host madam Ufon Udofia, a consultant from L.A who journeyed the SEQHER team through project conceptualization, organizational development and system strengthening for improved performance.
The meeting held in Abuja, engaged SEQHER team members physically in Abuja with virtual participation from Borno chapter.
Her insights on organization model within the developmental sector made the participants curious about this topic, leading to an interesting interaction between the participants and Madam Ufon Udofia.
This session was a valuable opportunity to understand the ways in which organizational acumen can be blended with social impact.
Our sincere thanks to madam Ufon Udofia and the entire L.A team for providing this platform to support our work.
On this day 3 years ago SEQHER was formally registered to foster a society where equality thrives. Since then, we’ve directly secured meaningful collaboration with necessary stakeholders by establishing valuable partnerships with prominent organizations for referrals. We have achieved enhanced visibility within the realm of social and community engagements and there has been elevation of beneficiary’s quality through the provision of knowledge around human rights.
As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you (funders, partners, stakeholders, staff and beneficiaries). Your belief, your insights, and your passion are driving forces for positive change, and we are deeply honored to have you as part of the organization. We couldn’t have achieved this without your unwavering support.
This is just the beginning of our journey towards making the world a better place and we look forward to continuing this incredible journey with you. Together, we will ignite actions that drive positive change nationally and globally.
Mental health is a major issue in the world today. It is not a topic that is often discussed, and it can be difficult to know how to deal with it.
However, mental health is an important thing to discuss because it affects many people and can lead to other problems if left untreated. It’s important to talk about what mental health is, what causes mental health problems, and how you can help someone who has mental health issues.

The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don’t play together, the club won’t be worth a dime Teamwork makes the dream work
Many people experiencing a mental health problem will speak to friends and family before they speak to a health professional, so the support you offer can be really valuable
